I wouldn’t mind if they acutally justified it or stated a reason but no, it’s just an anonymous tech mod with the possibility of other anonymous tech mods denying the report due to self interest without saying anything as to why it got marked ‘not a bug’, why have a bug reporting forum if you aren’t going to utilise the myriad of valid sources in favour of ‘manufacturers are clearly lying’ or ‘we can’t find a russian equivalent so this can’t come/be fixed’.

Also, does anyone know if theres a changerequest for the default location for the initially unlocked AMRAAMS? Every missile modification is completely useless because the default 2 AMRAAMS block the pylons.

Hello I’m a bit late. Too busy in rl, but back then even 21 MF have no flare pod u know. At that time even the best western german fighter F-104 still dont have flare too and only carry AIM9B and E IIRC or german modif version of AIM9B I forgot. And 21 MF only able to bring 4 R-60 while USSR already got 6xR-60 missile and ofc with flare and working RWR. And dont forget MiG-21MF have less thrust than MiG-21Bis at that time (and the RWR didnt work too until people complaint because we can see RWR inside the cockpit). Back then people need to grind their RWR as part of modification too.

Its a shame the EFT manual remains classified, it has some very good details on the radar scan patterns and ranges and the likes, but those cant be discussed on the forum or used for bug reports :(
Its a SAR radar, it should be able to make literal 3D ground maps and images for all weather strikes on stationary targets. The F-15E’s AN/APG-70 should as well, but neither can in-game.

Yes the BIS was superior to both the SMT and the MF, I remember playing the F-4/FGR-2 before the implementation of SARHM and the R-60 on the 21 platforms made them pretty competitive.
Yes RWR was a massive weakness when we started to receive airframes with SARHMs

T-80B got a thermal sight because of the Swedish trials prototype…
I guess different rules apply though because it’s not Russian

That was a T-80U which got thermals for atleast the swedish trials dont know if they had them before and if not when the rest got them
The T-80B got drop-in thermals at somepoint on some hulls (potentially somewhat similair to the DU-hulls in M1s)
Yeah your right, the Swedish trials T-80 wasn’t a B.
But only one T-80B ever received a thermal sight. Not until the BVM were they installed as standard, which is a separate vehicle.

With Typhoon, Luftwaffe service variants are characterised by the lack of IRST. It’s one of the main features between it and the other nations variants. We wish to keep some differennces between them whilst also not restricting it’s weaponary as far as possible from a gameplay perspective.
As Ive said, it’s more than possible to submit a suggestion for one of the two test Typhoons that had IRST as a seperate vehicle.

So the German EF is just strictly worse than the others? What’s the point of the German air tree past the second world war if our vehicle additions are going to be strict downgrades from those available in other trees? There is nothing unique about the German EF other than that it is worse than the other two, you didn’t even give it any of the unique weapons it tested.
You guys are happy to give unique German modifications to other aircraft, like giving the Belgian F-104G the German RWR and countermeasures which they never could use, but it doesn’t work the other way around?
