Yeah but apparently on the statcard it says the one germany is getting is T2, but the livery is from a T3A Eurofighter, so its all jumbled a bit, we’ll see on the dev where they take it. Radar seems normal even for pesa, no 140 degree coverage like the aesa on the rafale, and not even faster scan rate(from what it looks like on stream). But its subject to change

Even Tranche 2 and tranche 3, Only tranche 4 gets the CAPTOR-E which is an AESA radar.

So now I wonder what is the better radar. The AESA on the Rafale or CAPTOR M. Well Rafale “only” has MICA’s anyway so its long range radar capabilities are more a defensive advantage than an offensive one
No, its a 9L/I, improved 9l with the 9m’s IRCCM, it doesnt have smokeless, but irl, the Tranche-2 does get 9M, so yeah, it might.
German eurofighter wont be receiving pirate. Not suprised but they could have given it for parity. Especially when there are german eurofighters with pirate.
