So? You using chatgpt or grok as a source is just dumb.
I never disagreed with the fact that typhoon most probably doesnt have a system in its flight computer that could be turned off like a “cobra” button, just that asking Grok or ChatGPT as a “heres my source, im not gonna be your secretary” is stupid.
And the second part was more related to the cobra button we do have ingame being relatively useless, not as a response to you. Response to you was basically the AI part and the typhoon FCS
Seriously, Meteor would break every balance in the game currently (as much of what is left). That thing is a supersonic Mach >4 Anti-Air cruise missile with a no escape zone of nearly 100 km (bigger than any map in WT currently).
Additionally the seeker range is much higher than that of the AIM-120 or R-77. In case of the EURAAM version (of which nobody knows if it was ever produced as it’s a Meteor with more advanced seeker head which was planned but not heard of since 25 years) which combines active Ka-band radar homing with passive X-Band homing, it would be nearly impossible to notch as only either the seeker head of the missile has to hold a lock or the plane radar illuminates the target for the missile as some sort of fire control or it just goes home on jam. Only chance to evade would be the terrain.
Thinking about it again: The EF was added way too early to the game. Its default AtA and AtG weaponry had to get gimped enormously to not be overpowered. AIM-9M instead of IRIS-T, AIM-120B instead of Meteor, Brimstone 1 with SAL only (which it never had) instead of Brimstone 2/3 with FnF capability.
And even if they add new missiles they wouldn’t add Meteor until the Russian R-37M, American AIM-260, Chinese PL-15/PL17 because that’s literally the end game.
Next probably comes the AIM-120C5(all nato+jpn+isr)/R-77M(rus+chn)/MICA NG(for the fr*nch).
The wings in the eurofighter do not break at 12g. I’ve played the EF a ludicrous amount and I’ve not broken my wings at all and im pulling 12g all the time.
You may be pulling more than 12g, but not long enough to break the wings.
Or you might be using a much lighter load.
On min fuel and no weapons you will rip your wings at 15+g
Yes, I used trim to circumvent compression, its to prove a point that the wings absolutely break at 12.5g, but as you see in the video, the wings will break before compression occurs. It is simply easier to control the aircraft using trim in sim controls using M&K
War thunder G warning rounds to the nearest whole number.
If you are pulling 12.5g, it shows at 13g, I graciously installed WRTI to show that in the turn I broke my wings, my turn peaked at 12.9g and reduced to 12.2g before my wings actually broke.
