The 1.5x multiplier is not how much more than can pull. Its only the structural limits. So if an aircraft can only pull 9G it will only pull 9G, however if it has a 12G structural limit the ingame structural limit will be 12x1.5=18G, but that doesn’t mean it can now pull 18G aerodynamically, it still only had 9G of pull it will still pull 9G.
Typhoon is limited to 12G in game
Rafale does not have that limitation. Which is why Eurobros are complaining
Makes the EFT getting hardcoded to not exceed 12Gs, and Rafale’s continouous ability to pull between 15Gs and 18Gs even more bizzare.
Either both get limited to 12Gs, or neither does imo.
Also please revert AoA changes, I want my 35 AoA back :(
Oh ok thanks, still no idea how this works for bomber etc then since except if i’m missing something they can pull a lot of g compared to irl.
We don’t have the “Flight System Computer” limiting us to 9Gs to preserve the pilot like the real life jets do, the airframes are therefore allowed to pull as much as they can.
Question is: why was the Eurofighter coded to have a 12G limit.
Because it could turn too well at high speed, players complained that the Typhoon could defend against BVR threats too effectively.
To my knowledge there was no bug report for the change it is just something Gaijin have done. Like the Gripen changes to restrict the Typhoon, as a result an F-4S will pull similar G now
the pilot flying eurofighter in this video is absolutely unskilled however i dont have trouble believing that you kill eurofighters in a gripen
That doesn’t make sense. The “12g” limit isn’t absolutely safe limit every plane use. 12g is within 9g…9g*1.5. 18g absolute structure limit is nonsense, nobody in his mind would built such a plane that would be overweight garbage. Creators specially don’t allow planes to be overstrengthed for flight regimes at which plane would never even fly.
Gunjob doesnt have any say on Gaijins game balancing designs.
Typhoon and Rafale if it was realistic in game should wipe the floor with everything.
Gaijin have made an attempt to make the new Su-30SM and F-15E not totally unplayable.
I’d argue that they would never be totally unplayable. F-15E can play long BVR and win due to having more Fox3’s. Su-30 can just use R-77-1 as APS lol.
Those are just examples at random figures. Calm yourself down.
Calm what? Is it restricted to say that 18g structural limit is nonsense for combat aircraft?
Its a rule applied to EVERY aircraft in game. All have a 1.5x safety margin on their structural limitations. It has no impact on aerodynamic capabilities.
1.5x to 9g, not 12g that isn’t actual safe limit, but ability to go in 9… 9x1.5 g region
Just nerf the rafale g limiter
This is offense to all strength of material scientists
Wannabe mod
sharing the rules because theyre public
anyway
9G isn’t the structural limit for Typhoon, 12G is. So the safety margin is applied to that figure.
