Ye, just looked IRL for the 31+24
The FM has changed as have Brimstones since this video was relevant.
thing flies like a Tornado now…
What did changed with the Brimstones?
I have to say, EFs new drag values, G-limit, and thrust falling in the supersonic range, make it an outright unfun experience. MAYBE if they had actually fixed the radar, maybe then it wouldn’t be so bad, but as things stands, this “”“new”“” EFT is a straight up downgrade and pretty much just a malicious nerf.
I don’t see how anyone could claim the EFT is better than the Rafale at this point (well no, there’ll always be jimmies who will say it’s better just cus :p)
Aviation connosseurs: “my plane is the best”
War thunder players: “your plane is the best”
But but BVR…and and MICA range.
Nah Typhoon is cooked Brimstones, Radar and now FM make it a sad place to be
Yeahhhh, Same experience for me.
Thing can’t turn anymore. It feels like a tornado and I’m not even kidding
If you’re anywhere above like 600mph, its a flying brick. The dog crap “cobra button” does absolutely nothing
but but the PILOT can’t stand 15Gs!! Should be realistic!!
Wounder why Rafale, Micas, Hammers didn’t get any nerf so far. Why this hate towards EF2000?
wE hAvE dOcUmEnTs SaYiNg No NeRf
what do you expect from it? at what speed?
They gave it a button that it shouldn’t have in order to justify the absolute decimation of the plane.
Hey we nerfed your sh1t into the ground, but here the funny cobra button
the button was added on multiple aircraft and had nothing to do with the nerf. it was added due to user requests. eurofighter was nerfed because it was.
And the button is not “useless”, it does what it says it does. it does “nothing” at high speed because in high speed turns you are not limited by the aoa limiter as at high speed your aoa won’t max out before your g’s max out
hahaha.
because it was.
that’s great. Flagship vehicle of the last update released in an abysmal state gets decimated even harder in the next one.
The eurofighter doesn’t have the button ability IRL. Yet they added it in hopes it would make German players a little more comfortable with the murder of their top tier plane they had to wait 2 years for.
Nice.
interesting claim. can you show me evidence for it?
You can look it up, I am not your secretary.
All available info says it doesn’t. Do you even have the EF, and if not why are you commenting on its performance, in the thread literally for it.
Eurofighter still absolutely slaps. This forum absolutely reeks of cope. All you have to do is throw it into manual from dampening for the first turn, and then bam, you have position and have a absolutely free gun solution. Also, at high altitude, in manual, it still pulls ridiculous amount of gs. This whole nerf thing seems to be pure cope.
burden of proof relies on the person making the claim. if you dont provide proof then ill disregard your claim as there is nothing backing it up. very pointless conversation if you have nothing to add
i actually looked it up and didn’t find anything that confirmed your claim
Well, atleast they increased the spawnpoints for the Hammer (and KH-38MT)
Please go back to the UK thread, you simply can’t perform an easy google search or LLM summary.
Here’s Grok
“The Eurofighter Typhoon does not appear to have a pilot-accessible feature to “toggle off” its maximum AoA limit in flight, based on public data. The FCS enforces AoA restrictions for safety, though these limits can be adjusted through software updates (e.g., AMK).”
Here’s Chatgpt
" Yes, the Eurofighter Typhoon has a system that limits its angle of attack (AoA) to prevent excessive maneuvering that could lead to instability. However, there is no dedicated button to completely disable the AoA limiter during normal operations… Unlike the F-18 Hornet, which has a paddle switch to override AoA/G-limits, the Typhoon does not have an equivalent manual override in normal service."
