If you actually math it out, its trigger time is above most of its competitors barring the F-15’s which are more outliers:
EFT BK-27: 1700rpm, 150 rounds, 5.3 sec trigger time
F-16 M61: 6000rpm, 512 rounds, 5.1 sec trigger time
Su-27SM GSh-30-1: 1800rpm, 150 rounds, 5 sec trigger time
J-10A GSh-23-2: 3396rpm, 200 rounds, 3.53 sec firing time
F-15C/E M61: 6000rpm, 940 rounds, 9.4 sec trigger time
Rafale M791: 2500rpm, 125 rounds, 3 sec trigger time
Gripen Akan M/85: 1700rpm, 120 rounds, 4.24 sec trigger time.
The lower RPM could cause some issues, particularly since gaijin thinks its funny to give it practice rounds and large numbers of APHE shells, but 1700rpm is still 28.33 rps, gonna be hard to squeeze between those, but the high muzzle velocity (best in tier iirc) should make it easy to hit targets, and the rounds having more mass should allow them to retain that velocity better than an M61.

The number of stages is not important, we know the pressure and temperature limits and what matters in the end is exhaust velocity. The engine is of similar size to its peers and has a larger bypass but not considerably enhanced pressure ratios. Thus, exhaust velocity will be lower and so will the dynamic dry thrust rating. Obviously that is detrimental to supercruise performance.
Man i really hope they don’t nerf the eurofigher further, i thought after its thrust nerfs it would be much worse but it’s still godlike + the maneuvrability is insane, you can whip this jet around like crazy.

Radar needs massive buffs
CMs are underperforming notably
Probably still missing some dry thrust performance, especially at alt with its supercruise too low. But yeah, FM looks pretty solid at the moment

Im hoping most things are fixed by the time i get around to playing it. Its also still missing those GBU-31’s which is annoying, but the radar looks and sounds absolutely horrendous atm, so that def takes priority imo.
Yeah, if it was a straight 1 for 1 C&P of the blue vixen it would be fine (for now), but its this wierd modified version that is somehow really bad. I really dont know what gaijin is thinking
The code for GMTI is still in the radar file. Gaijin did a bunch of changed to how the different modes are selected so my bet is they screwed up and accidentally made it non-selectable.

Either that or it was a tad on buggy side on the dev server and so just disabled it until they get round to fixing it
I think they were just pushing it out the door. With the crazy amount of bug reports, i dont think this update reasonably should have come out before the holidays, but ppl were gonna whine either way, so they got it pushed out and now they’ll br on break for a while.

Probs not, but i guess anything is possible.
Id expect the missing J-10B/J-11B to show up, alongside the leaked Su-30SM and the not leaked but likely coming very soon F-2 Viper Zero.
The delayed F/A-18 Hornet update is likely gonna be coming within the next 2 updates as well, and potentially an F-15C (229), or an F-16C with AESA for the americans.
Quite frankly, the C-5 AMRAAM should not come until map sizes are doubled, but seeing as gajin though the 229 Streagles and the Delta Ducks were a good idea to add now, I dont have much faith in their judgement.
