Oh nice, when I was researching it I only looked into which one was first (the twin seater Italian one), I didn’t realise there were more T1’s with PIRATE.

I wonder if the UK also got them on serial T1’s (doubt it afaik the deliveries were slightly behind schedule).

Performance-wise I don’t think they offer anything, best you’d see them is as twin seater event vehicles but I think that detracts from this aircraft significantly as its the most recent European fighter.

while intresting its realy mostly internal stuff of the cockpit he shows of. Would be more relevant for dcs freaks if anything.
From what i watched actual information to tranche 5 amk, weaponry similar wasnt named /explained much

i mean yeah its not finalized and weapons integrations are up to the user nation…

Yes PAC-2 GEM-T are being produced in germany by MBDA and ARROW 3 is being acquired for some reason though afaik without a new radar suite as the installed radars in germany are the same

Did the DA5 have any countermeasures? Was it fitted with the BK-27 in addition to the AIM-9 and AIM-120?

no and probably also no on the bk-27
first gun tests were done with da3 in 2004

That people still are trying to add the prototype ones whens literaly not possible to implement them fairly to all nations

I’m damn near sure the AMK kit lower half does provide a spaced area for the canon’s vector sonce it is not a solid piece all the way to the lower fuselage.
So yeah in essence a gun can be mounted if it already isnt.

Currently we realy cant say.
But for the very least rhe IPA07 that tested the AMK doesnt have cannons equipment.
AMK with cannons would be only in the far far future then

This topic should be in Suggestions.

No it shouldnt be.
It speaks about all german typhoons
Suggestions are only for specific variants
Seriously think a moment before saying stuff like that

womp womp, dude, dont be so aggresive

Man practice reading comprensión before thinking You are getting attacked

This is only partly true. Datalink was a huge reason why some of these things died. We don’t have it in game, but you can cold launch Aim-120s, Aim-9Xs and other AAMs and use ground based, AWACS, Ship based etc RADAR to guide them remotely. This is why the F16s with Aim-120C-7s and Aim-120Ds in Ukraine is such a big deal. Essentially the missile will give no warning, and the fighter doesn’t need to lock onto the enemy aircraft. The missile can be guided by multiple points in the chain with the fighter not getting involved. The enemy won’t know any better until the missile goes pitbull and at that point you have roughly 8 seconds to determine what it is, where its coming from, and how to evade. 8 seconds is not long in combat. Datalink was a huge game changer. As seen by Captain Hwang who shot down two Mig-29s by himself in 1999 with his F15C.

Their is a very good paper on this here: https://www.sto.nato.int/publications/STO%20Meeting%20Proceedings/STO-MP-AVT-307/MP-AVT-307-19.pdf
