Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet (Part 2)

No DASS?

Yep. All in an effort to lower costs

Damn, figured it would have that much at least.

So no HMD, No RWR, no MAWS, no HMD. No Fox-3, Id assume maybe CMs?

I assume that it doesn’t have an HMS, as it would be in line with Austria’s corner cost cutting. As for it having Flares or Countermeasures of any kind, I do not know. I would hope that it does for my Southern Neighbours

If you have no RWR or MAWS, having any CMs kinda feels a bit poitnless :D (IRL)

The question though is whether the BOL rails exist, which they probably do, as they are intergrated and probably not removed. Even if Austria doesnt buy any BOL.

It does have Flares

So at least keeps the LCMs then

Actually, going off of this over 4 year old article, Austria may have reverted their Typhoons back into ‘standard’ ones. Well, they were ‘thinking about it’ at least.

Yeah, I thought I recalled something about them looking to upgrade.

Good time to do it as well, given that there is gunna be a surplus of older, but perfectly usable equipment as nations like Britain and Germany upgrade.

But who gets the Spanish EFs? :3

It keeps other stuff too, atleast thats what the pilot says that they can use around 03:20
Cruise Missiles/Smart Bombs(JDAM/Paveway/)
Medium range Missiles/Short range Missiles

I’m hoping Spain

There’s a Spanish skin for the Italian EF, so we clearly already have one ))))

13.0

If they’re adding AESA configurations and using technical compatibility, I don’t see why we couldn’t just have them add Typhoon/Eurofighter (DA). And just introduce it with AIM-9Li, AIM-120B, 6 missiles total and rb199’s, put it at like 13.0

Definitely one of the more unique formations I’ve seen.
