Yeah, GJ makes peculiar choices to say the least. RBS15 could’ve solved the As issue in 4-5 nations.

none, the MFGs who did AShM missions (MFG1+2) have been dissolved in the 90s
the only remaining MFGs (MFG 3 „Graf Zeppelin", MFG 3) do Anti Submarine missions with Helos and P3C Orion but they’re opening another one for P8 Poseidons

Plus it has a baby warhead. RBS15 shoulda been in the game long time ago.
Plus, you can put it on the ships, so you’re solving Naval issues too.

Then probably 2 to 4 would be my guess. Not 100% sure on dimensions of the RBS15 but EFT can only run 2x Storm Shadow for comparison
It’s pretty big, Gripen I think only carries like 4 maybe more(pretty sure it’s just 4 though), though things like the Lansens and Viggen also carried the RBS so it’s not too big.

To be fair that’s not a Gripen C, that’s a Gripen E. The IRST is different than the IR-OTIS tested on the Viggen and Gripen A
Now with Sweden getting the Gripen E we might see them more often with it. Since FMV has only had like 2 or so E units for testing and Promo

Anywho I’d kill for the MK.IV since SAAB states it can actually be used to hit ground targets alongside naval targets. Would be super silly to have EFT’s and Gripens slinging these at tanks like a mini TAURUS KEPD 350
Though I wonder if RBS uses the same pylons on the EFT as TAURUS so maybe it’s just the two pylons on the EFT then :/

When they say “ground targets” it’s more meant bunkers and hardened stuff. Note that RBS15 has a huge 0.5m diameter head (vs 0.35m for standard As missiles), so it can penetrate 2-3m of armor?, or more…IDK, but a lot.
With it’s 4.3m length it should fit innermost wing pylon, too.
Tbf as long as I can force select it to hit one point I can kill 90% of SAM players who sit in spawn lmao. I ended up with a quad using the F16AM with penguins since the sky saber and NASAMS kept shooting my rockets for some reason rather than my penguins, though I did fire them from like 15km or so
Iirc EFT only carries 2 TAURUS KEPD like the Gripen so you could eventually just run like a 2x RBS and 2x KEPD loadout for just being silly lmao
