Still can’t wrap my head around why the devs are completely fine making stuff up 99% of the time, but when it comes to the Brimstone SPECIFICALLY, the very suggestion is vile and blasphemous.
At this point I’m pretty sure they just dont like the EFT and don’t like anything associated with it either.

Just add 8× SPICE to the Eurofighter on the inner or middle wing pylons and everyone’s happy

Current one, I think only the wooden demo aircraft has the new glass cockpit so far. ZK355 has the standard cockpit.

Yeah you can see the HUD unit;
New cockpit removes the HUD in place of using Striker II for all Heads up symbology;

This is the one part of their current… “balancing consideration” I just cant get my head around, why they insist on just the Brimstone 1s. But fingers crossed with the “new” Typhoon I guess. If it is coming.
But I guess we just have to hold out hope that Spear-Glides get tested soon

Im really interested to see how they are going to implement the more advanced HMDs. Especially for both the F-35 if/when thats added (and assuming it gets the look through cockpit stuff) or if we get any of the AR stuff from the Striker II
Would certainly be the quickest and easiest stop-gap solution
ehhh iffy, as far as its concerned the spice is on the same stage as spear glide.
Germany doesnt have the EF EW yet

But yes, ZK355 still had a HUD when they put ECRS Mk.2 in at Warton and still has it during the first flight with the radar at least
Some of BAE’s promo images for Project Medulla do show their LiteHUD installed in test/development rigs instead of the normal Eurofighter HUD. But yeah the cockpit simulator they like to show off doesn’t have one, and as I understand it the aim is not to have one.

Nor do they have Brimstones or Paveway IVs. :P
If the aim is just to add something, anything FnF, then they should be given serious consideration. I dont think strict adherence to “historical accuracy” is in the best benefit to anyone. Especially given things like KH-38MTs or SLE with Brimstones.
So the choices are:
Spice-250s that havent been fitted but are proposed (such as Brimstones on the ASSTA4/SLE)
Spear-Glides, parts fully built, but not been test fired yet
PGM-500s (Photographed at an airshow, unknown if fitted, less than ideal due to small number that could be carried)
HOSBO (Photogrpahed on the airframe? but limited number can be carried)
Its whether Spice has been fitted to a Typhoon, its only a proposal at this time I beleive, with Spear-Glides in development for much the same role, Germany may go for them instead.
But they have added proposed weapons before if circumstances demand it and I think this qualifies
my brain specialy tries to deny those cases
