I’ve wondered that, since you can’t add to the original closed one. Seems like they would but its the Snail…
More advance name bug report

Its probably such a tiny difference in weight and drag that I doubt you would ever notice and in a wvr fight between a typhoon with PIRATE and one without, things like fuel management would have a greater impact on airframe performance
Please don’t tell me gaijin is accepting that as an actual source. 🤣
That site is completely wrong and most likely some eurofighter fan page.
maybe add this?
Static stand thrust != installed thrust.
Are there many credible sources to the contrary? This sites claims match pilot, airforce and manufacturer claims. Theyre in part sourced like that after all
I saw this and its already added to the list
and thats not even counting those for PIRATE or those due when we see the new FM/Radar
Carrying the same amount of Fox3’s as some other top tier jets, with the addition of 4 more Fox2’s and a better radar, right?
So effectively this thing is leagues better than its competitors(as it currently stands), or no?
4-6 ARH and 2-6 IR missiles. So less ARH than the F-15C or F-15E, and less missiles overall than the Su-27s. Optimal config will probably be 2+6 or 4+5 at which pont its reasonably average.
We’ll have to wait and see how they model CAPTOR-M, but should be the best Mechanical radar in the game.
F-15E (US and Israel) will be able to fight it just fine
F-15C (US, Israel and Japan) will have a little harder time, but should do just fine
Rafale (France) will do fine (if the FM get fixed)
J-10A (China) will do fine against it
Su-27SM (Soviets) will struggle against it
Gripen C (Sweden) will be okay, but its gunna be a bit of an uphill fight for them.
For BVR, Typhoon is equal to F-15C/E, and Rafale.
All of the things listed are slightly superior in BVR to the single-engined 13.7 fighters
Su-27SM is marginally worse than the twin engined meta, but better than single engine’d 13.7 fighters.
And WVR Typhoon will bet the best.
Thanks for the responses.
That comparison is disingenuous, as you do not know the loadout, fuel, etc of the Airbus number. All known sources roughly corroborate these
Oh yeah I want to see the sources that says there is an F-15C with 229s. There is nothing disingenuous about not trusting a source that puts in false information. Hell I would say it is disingenuous to say they are accurate.
Note how the source specifically says which engine they ran the numbers with, to ensure that no matter what the result is one can tell where they got it from? The F-15Cs numbers are reference figures, not the actual plane.
Having to point to a completely different Aircraft to find what you believed to be a flaw in the data does indicate you have no actual sources that contradict the current claims. Minding that the current claims are very consistent across sources
so what you are saying that these are speculative numbers then?
