Meteor is an ultra long range air to air missiles that massively outclasses aim-120Ds let alone aim-120Bs
What is needed for A2G is for the Brimstones to receive mode 2 Fire and Forget, but Gaijin won’t add that annoyingly.
The next best option would be to replace the Typhoons Brimstone 1s with Brimstone 2s (which is historically accurate change they need to make)
This would radically improve their performance even if they are still SAL only

If they add Meteors, they would also have to add AIM-260s and R-37s, which the game is not ready for any of them.
I know little friend, I know. But we must suffer in silence because we’ll still have the best plane in war thunder.

You mean a missile of which we don’t even have a real photo?
Afaik R-37 is launched only by SU-35, 57 and mig 31
I’m saying that if the Meteor would be added, the equivalents of other nations would also have to be added.
I understand but as of now there is real equivalent to the meteor in the world (maybe in China?): this ratio range/missile weight is unique. R37 is 600 kg while meteor is only 185 kg

nah, meteor irist and asraam and later amraams will come with a “late” variant when others have the later amraams/aim9x. rn its the best plane ive ever flown, only thing maybe all the bugs pointed out in the main thread plus double rail for outer amraams
