As probably most of you know, Rafale C now having 8 MICA missiles due to some corrections.
I’m here to discuss same thing but for all variants of Eurofighter.
Here’s Typhoon Weapon Configuration Chart which clearly shows us that the jet is able to carry 2 more AMRAAM missiles.
What you guys think about it? If Gaijin is making corrections to top tier planes they should focus on all of them not just on one specific.
It is not official document. Developer’s answer that there is not enough evidence proving additional MRAAM capability.
As always and it’s nothing new to be honest. But there was any official documents sends to devs with proof that Rafale is able to carry 8 MICA missiles?
BAE systems does have a render showing 2 AMRAAMs fitted to the common weapon rack thingy (that carries the twin paveways in-game) so there is some potential for that if there’s more corroboration
The Typhoons are fine, they’re not in any dire need.

We should wait until actual decompression before you buff one of the best planes in the entire game.

I have official Eurofighter documents but how do you think I should send a NATO restricted documents on forum? Are you out of your mind or something?
Official documents are not only manuals. It can be brochure from BAE or something like this.

You know why EF wont get other two amraams unless MICAs and R77s are fixed and why 8 amraams on F15s was BIG mistake???
This is the reason. This Rmax2 is about Rmax of MICA itself. It cant even realistically hit at these ranges kinematically, amraam on the other hand will be doing high supersonic speeds and if you manage to keep STT, will most likely hit even beaming enemy unless target goes cold fast. If you get into high PK zone of MICA in planes that are substantially faster than rafale (everything at top tier at this point). Its YOU issue, not weapons set.

And yes, there are official photography and documents showing R3R with 8 MICA EMs. Which are a sidegrade to Typhoon’s 8 missile loadout.

Yea, the TMC has an unused loadout option with 2x AIM-120B in the files. Theoretically TMC is able to carry AIM-120s instead of SRAAMs, since TMC uses MFRL rails, but a report unfortunately didn’t made it.
