thats not the definition of a paper tank, a definition would be that it never left the drawing board, like only being on blueprints, and not a single prototype or some parts of the tank being made, the object 292 was made, it was a prototype, so its not a paper tank

as far as i know, there arent any attachment points on the tiger UHT to make something like that possible, ive read a lot about this in the old forum since a similar conversation existed talking about the RMK on the UHT

The points are there just under the fuselage.
This is because the french and other tigers have chin mounted guns and since the tiger design is the same across countries, the interior fuselage skeleton allows for such a modification.
I also read those old forums and they included something about the bundeswehrs right to choose whether they wanted to change the nose mount or not.
So the option is, was or can be there. Just isnt installed yet as far as we know
