I was there for private and business reasons quite often, but i never got used to their habit to have carpet floor in bathrooms even in expensive hotels - and their refusal to adopt to technological inventions from the 1940s like one-handle mixing faucets.
Seeing the quality of their food in general (and coffee in particular) and their habit to drive on the wrong side on roads it was logical that they developed a very dry and very dark humor.
This humor together with BLT sandwiches and extremely polite people even throughout sometimes very tough meetings made my trips to the UK always a highlight during the years…

Sometimes the silly things are what people love the most, but when you can laugh in the face, mock and ridicule those who truly hate you, you’ll know what it’s like to be a true Englishman. I will never stand for the vile and atrocious acts of terrorism and I will never apologise for despising terrorists.
