We can all agree that the biggest problem in this game isn’t the broken vehicles or any other issues it’s that the most important element doesn’t actually work: the engine sounds.
I’m tired of constantly getting killed at the last second because enemy engine sounds only make noise when they shoot or when you can actually see them.
I’m tired of having to guess how the enemy tank is moving, because the engine sounds stay the same no matter which direction it’s going or if it’s even moving at all.
I’m seriously fed up with not knowing exactly where the enemy vehicle is whether it’s behind two houses or a rock the sound always stays the same.
I’m tired of not being able to tell which tank is approaching or from which direction, because one sound completely drowns out the other.
The gunfire from AAs is sometimes louder than the engine sound of a tank that’s right next to you.
The range of engine sounds is absolutely ridiculous.
200m, maybe 300m and then suddenly it’s completely silent. And anyone can check: it doesn’t gradually fade away, it just… stops.
We don’t need new engine sounds that we have to get used to all over again after years of learning which vehicle sounds like what.
We need them fixed.
This issue has been around for over a year, I believe. WHEN WILL THE SOUNDS BE FIXED?
And honestly, why are enemy tanks even derendered?
I’ve never understood that it’s probably part of the problem too.
If that got fixed, this whole issue would probably disappear.
The updates are great, really but we don’t need more content, we need the game to be fixed.
The way tank sound types are designed is also completely ridiculous, but that’s another topic.
