What does everyone think about the engine sounds of the Leopard 2 series tanks in the game? Are they realistic?

if you have seen a video of the leopard 2, you will notice that it is so eerily close to how it is in game. so yeah, pretty realistic.
I’m not talking about ‘image’, but the sound of the engine. I think there’s a big gap between it and reality

Yes, the engine sound is clearly different from what’s in the game, that’s the real thing
The engine sound of Merkava is also incorrect
I saw a different video, from farther away. it seems that the camera in this video is picking up more of the exhaust rather than the full engine sound due to being really close.

The real Leopard 2 sounds like a supercar orgy. Not like a drowning child it is in the game.
In my opinion, not really; the ingame’s revving up is too quick and abrupt, and then, it turns into too much of a high pitched “bzzzzz”. It also sounds too “shallow” and “gentle”, it doesn’t have enough of a deep diesel growl.
Like, it’s “VROOMzzzzzzzzzzrzzzzzzrzzzzzzzzz” instead of: “vvvVVRRRRRROOOOOOMMMMMmmmmmmmmmzzzzggrrrrzzzzzggrrrrrrrrrrgrrrrrzzzz”.
The turbo sound is also inaccurate. Rather than a “huuuuuuoooooeeeeeee”, it’s “WIIIIIIIII”.
Don’t get me wrong; there IS a likeness, but, in my opinion, OPEX gets it better and it’s one of the main reasons why I favour this mod over vanilla sounds; In this short video, you can hear comparison of three engine sounds, including Leopard 2:
Funnily enough, I would like it if the vanilla sounds were better, as I find mod usage to be suboptimal, so I check once in a while and every major update if they were updated, hahah. I’ve given up on gunfire sound, but still have hopes about the engine sounds.
Gaijin’s Challenger 2 sound is excellent, for example.

In short, the sound of a diesel engine should be deep and powerful, not high-pitched and sharp.
In the game, the engine sounds of the ZTZ99A, ZTZ96B, and Israel’s Namer infantry fighting vehicle are very realistic.
