Hello, good morning or evening. I’d like to report a bug that occurs specifically with vehicles that can generate smoke from the engine. When you activate thermal vision, the smoke disappears, which is an unfinished issue that hinders effective use

That is intentional, has been a known thing for years

ESS is useless, just unequip it so you’ll never use it.
This is on purpose. A fact i discovered myself when i made my own bug report for it years ago ( Community Bug Reporting System ). You live and you learn :)

inb4 you get baited and push into a guy who smoked himself up and got thermals.
That’s called getting outplayed. Only an issue at 8.0 to 10.0 where thermals are not standard
