I saw in the sescription of different aircrafts that they have emergency landing hook for carriers (ex:rafale, iar 93B etc.). Is there anyway to use IT, because I tried on a map with aircraft carriers and when I pressed G pefore landing, IT didn’t show up. I did Something wrong or IT Simply doesn’t exist in the game ?

Some planes model it, others don’t. Its a bit of a “test it and find out yourself” deal. Note that it descends in the general area of a carrier, with the larger region being towards the aft

Also note: the emergency hook seen on most air force aircraft not meant for naval operations is incredibly weak, like strong enough to be safely utilized in an emergency but not meant for repeated carrier landings. The reason many might not actually descend is because the hook wouldn’t be able to withstand the force of a carrier landing, though that is just speculation

EM Hooks aren’t common on many AF Aircraft between most all countries, it wasn’t until much later in US Doctrine that it was adopted for non-naval aircraft. As opposed, Russian doctrine had little to no carrier operations and as such it is rare to find tailhooks on anything modern that wasn’t meant to be utilized with the Kuznetzov. Also, hooks are extra hydraulic routing that is often unneeded in many aircraft, due to the operating countries not utilizing arresting lines within their airfields. It’s also worth mentioning that most airfields dont have these lines prepared regularly, usually prepping them after an aircraft had declared an emergency and was going to land overweight, which many operators would just dump the excess.
yeah i know that but for example the F100 has a tail hook drop button in cockpit
Oh sorry, I don’t own any of the F100s so I’ve never seen that switch. Unless you’re using one from a diff nation ik the US one doesn’t have a visible hook

f15(all us ones), f4c, f117 and the f111 have a tail hook as well
