EMBT: The Eurotank

Volumetric requires accurate modelling of the plate thickness in the damage model which none of the Leopards have yet

lol

Omega lol. Does the person writing this blog play top tier, let alone the Leclerc ? We are not in 2022 anymore

Truly sad that this is the case

What’s important isn’t the turret but the gun. And shard has been successfully tested on the Leclerc gun, soit technically could be shot from the CN120 regardless of the turret.
Note: also the turret is one from a Leclerc XLT, not S2

truly the peak of 12.7

At this point just give scout to the Leclerc, type 10 and Ariete, those are just light tanks

At least you can’t pen the upper front plate!

you can! this is simulated at 1000 meters with their respective top shells, the area on the embt only grews with shorter distance why strv 122 generally stays the same

Gaijin just doesnt show you this because they would need to get back to their promised leo 2 damage rework they announced 3 years ago but shelved

and the reverse is not true! The EMBT cant really pen upper front with a lucky shot, how unlucky for such a good 12.7 tank

I stand corrected

No such thing as XLT and if you meant XLR your still wrong as that wasn’t produced for another 3 years

XLT is not XLR. XLT is for tropicalisé. Basically a S1 armor package with some electronic upgrades.
For war thunder, that would mean thermal commander sight (1st gen)

More likely they haven’t realized it has mexas as well and we can’t prove it as so limited information exists about the chassis

Surprised that no changes to made to this based on feedback on the dev server

Both on here, other forums, and from CC’s, the near unanimous take is vehicle doesn’t really address the needs of either tree as implemented:

  • For Germany, it offers a slight increase in ROF compared with the Leopard 2’s, but sacrifices made in survivability and penetration are significant. At least it’s a side grade that provides variety

  • For France, this vehicle provides identical firepower to other Leclercs, but sacrifices mobility for slightly better hull armor. However, the new turret ring weak point negates any value in the trade off. In effect a downgrade across the board.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to see France get it’s first (partially) domestic ground design since November 2025, but I’m surprised no changes have been made to its BR or ammo selection after all the provided feedback

Source? Never heard of this upgrade.

Bruh it’s the basically the Leclerc that the UAE uses with a longer hull to accommodate a MTU engine instead of the one used in French service. France/nexter kept a few to modify and tinker with
Are you deadass asking for the source ?

The turret visually isn’t the S1. There’s an APU/vent sticking out on the top and the CITV is also only used for the XLT/early S21(see my EMBT dev thread)

i mean if you say its mexas they will say its amap b
if you say its amap b they say its mexas
and when you say its only mexas fitted on original strv 122 and amap b was only ever fitted on strv 122 evolution they say:
Its neither mexas or amab p fitted on leopards but a secret third composite array that looks identical but no one can say who produced that. We can only say its 100mm worse than a 40 year old MEXAS composite array

If EMBT still doesn’t have Leo’s obstruction zone I give it chance to be first respawn in German line up, I despise top tier Leopards

Least schizo German main.

Literally the exact same thing girlie.

Turret: copy-paste
Chassis: copy-paste
