Sweden really getting the IRIS-T SLS before Germany huh
well yes since germany doesnt have the SLS in service as far as i know and SLM will be way to op for now
I also think Ger might not get any Iris with that update, besite its a German development from Diehl Defense. As well as production. As Sweden got the ITO90 as SPAA, France got it as well. SInce its a French development. Despite France never operated the ITO.
I see that in this case Gajin is not willing to get it to Ger as well. Despite Germany owns the missile / radar tech (and also operates these Bandwagon 410 in other roles).
The vehicle is swedish, the radar is swedish, missles are in this case partially german but also partially swedish
personally i already disagreed with the french getting the ItO for the reasons you stated so i do hope they wont get the EldE 98
First time I hear the Iris development and production is Swedish.
25km?
It has 15 -20km max from a plane
Irist has 25km from a plane
Irist is on python 5 level
it’s a french thing after all.
Oh no
So another cringe looking vehicle gonna get the “BEST SPAA in game” title.
Thankfully
germany is the primary developer but many nations including sweden have quite large parts in its development
Saab does produce it I think.
so? should every leopard 2 of other nations go to germany as well ? what about every tank that uses a gun from rheinmetall ?
So a mainly ground update after all these air updates? ground players gotta be so happy
And they do have leopards. We are dealing with a case which they don’t. You can have ITO90M, or else have nothing. If u want just change the name or whatever into Crotale NG/Crotale Mk3. Just a name change, not anyone’s fault, Gaijin doesn’t want to make a new chassis.
pantsir is still better, but more spaa is a good thing
They said that they will focus on spaa and naval and will slow on air
couldnt they just have gotten this instead
or the sk version:
Yes, as I said new Chassis. More work = No to Gaijin. I mean what do they gain? Nothing.
they should have done that instead of being uber dumb though, random finnish vehicle in the french tree
Probably for the best, both for ground and naval and for air
This sounds more like truth. Sweden owns 18% share of the consortium. Doesn’t stop Gajin to just add it to Sweden and seemingly no one else.
