I’ve flared 1Cs before in game, TY90 no. but when you increase the launch range, you increase the time its seeing “flares” for the seeker to get spoofed basically. gaijin dont have the IIR seeker modelled at all in game, its just a VERY glorified value in code to make it “almost” flare resistant.
This is my concern with it having s 10-12km range, just means the seeker has “visibility” of the flares longer with the potential to be confused by it (assuming they flare at the beginning of launch phase) I could be wrong and it basically be a TY90 with 2x the range (which ide love) but I just dont get that feeling
Very fast updates as well. Unlike Pantsir, this one can scan the entire 70° elevation in one go. Max range is 75km I guess, but fighter sized targets are up to ~30km or so. Still plenty enough especially in WT.
Pantsir has guns and is very often used offensivly. They can shred western tanks from the side and disable them with this multi barreled hellfire in no time from any direction.
Thats why its stats differ to pure SAM vehicles which just sit back far behind the lines.
Also keep in mind that non russian nations rarely spawn jets or helis anymore. Who is really willing to spawn 850points to get just Pantsired at spawn. Pantsirs dont have that much air targets to shot anymore. While non russian teams face far more targets, maps are flooded which Suchois and Kamovs.
At this point, I am hoping the US gets the captured Pantsir they got from Libya with all these new SPAAs coming. If this is what we can expect from the rest of the upcoming additions, then the status-quo remains and renders additions like this DoA.
Unique layout, as the missiles are located on a trailer LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER
The vehichle has the engine in front but all four tracks are powered. and the rear compartment isnt a trailer. its a tracked articulated all terrain veichle. its meant to be able to go EVERYWHERE. and it turns by turning the middle part of itself. the front part cant function without the rear part.
germany doesnt have any IRIS-T SLS systems, and i doubt we will get the IRIS-T SLM systems any time soon since they would have 40km range instead of 12km
