In the dev server the Eitan ifv has threat velocity of 70-800 m/s
However according to the guy who did the suggestion
It’s 70 - 1700 m/s
Did the suggestion guy made a mistake or the numbers in the dev server are just wrong?

They carry the same radar no? So it should still be able to detect/intercept the threat even if it can’t defeat it

With how APS is modeled in game i think the lower speed is to show the fact that IF-LD can’t intercept APFSDS rounds since i don’t think APS systems in game are capable of distinguishing between threats and an interception event is a guaranteed kill so intercept speed is the factor the devs use to limit which systems can intercept what i think (even if it contradicts reality). That being said i don’t know why its intercept speed is lower than the Trophy HV on the merkava 4m and namer by 200 m/s, that seems off.
i think its just an engine limitation, gaijin cant correctly model the decrease in penetration caused by a failed intercept on a apfsds round so they just set it so that it wont even try
