The next event will be an aircraft, USSR / Russia hasn’t had an event for awhile now. The MiG-29M2 will be a good top tier option as Russia doesn’t currently have a rank 8 premium or squadron aircraft, meaning people who haven’t grinded the USSR / Russian air-tree don’t have a plane for Ground RB, or even just in general.
The MiG-29M2 will have a good selection of air to air and air to ground weapons.
As much as i want more mig29 variants, they would be omega ultra useless in the current meta. The 12.7-13.0 ones are the epitome of mediocre and the 29SMT is downright bad. Unfortunately with the way gaijin has compressed the game I doubt much changes regarding the 29’s performance.
I mean it would be better than the current mig 29 in everything, with better thrust to weight, much better engines, same radar as the smt, 2 more hard points due to the newly designed wings, should be a completely new (and better) flight model because of the said wings, more fuel, more aoa and all this while retaining the same speed as the old mig 29. Also it can guide in weapons using its own irst or a targeting pod while also getting kh38mt/mle, I think it would’ve a good plane.
It’s actually a plane that got better flight performance compared to its predecessors, unlike the su27 that just got worse and worse.

From my recent experience with the SMT the biggest drawback after the FM was the loadout, 6 r77’s is not that much at the end of the day, and they need to be managed well, the radar is fine mainly for the gimbal limit.
A better FM and 2 extra R-77 would make the 29 more enjoyable if the higher BR gets a further decompression. A MiG like this or the 29M would most likely be 13.7 at least, so it would face way better jets more often, unlike the 13.3 SMT.

Last mig-29 of the (9.15) series, which the much more cms, and all the hardpoints. Plus it had an option for upgrading to the aesa zhuk radar (it used the normal zhuk when it was actually flown, zhuk ae was just an option for export customers)
Can you list the changes that happened to blue 156 when it became the OVT?
Also finding it really difficult to find single seat fulcrum pictures past the 9.15 series and SMTs.
