The snail is forcing players to grind more now with all the AESA upgrades being non-foldered, they stopped doing folders unless the line reach the 3-vehicles maximum.
Im hoping we can get them to add something, anything, extra to this new EFT to make it stand out more from the previous one, and there is plenty options from things like Striker II and Litening 5 that wouldnt have any impact on balance, to better A2G weapon options that are long overdue anyway to other additions like the upgraded DASS.
If even a few them come along, then the grind wont feel too bad. But I think its quite clear that this Typhoon will be moving up within the next 6 months likely with new advanced AAMs, so on those grounds, its giving us a couple months to grind out this airframe pre-emptively, which is actually quite nice. But the CAPTOR-E is 100% worth the effort to grind, might even buy 1 week of premium time just to make the grind a little quicker.

Btw can actually anyone explain in simple words the difference between PESA and AESA radars in the game? How much better is the latter one?
The differences aren’t modelled in game at all. They’re the same as of now
