Recently, Bluewater fleet naval trees were extended to rank VII, and as a result we’ve now updated the research system to make progression faster and more balanced overall. The infographic shows the updated cost for researching and purchasing Bluewater fleet ships at each rank for each nation.
The cost of researching and purchasing Bluewater fleet ships at ranks I-VII has been altered (generally reduced). Values of the following parameters have been changed: the purchase price in Silver Lions, the crew cost, the Expert crew price, the price of modifications in Silver lions, the amount of research points needed to research a vessel, and the amount of research points needed to unlock modifications.
Note that the calculations do not take into account grouped vehicles, since their research and purchase are not required to advance through the Bluewater fleet research trees.

What about the coastal fleet? When can we expect proper economy changes and BR decompression for it? Right now, the coastal suffers from severe imbalance combined with an abysmally slow grind.

the later tree (UK anyway) getting reductions in the 20s of % twice is looking very nice,
highest drop being Italys rank V and VI with RP drops in the 30’s of %,
overall very nice, but Coastal needs attention, 400k+ RP for a 4.x vehicle is atrocious

I agree. As someone who has been trying to get into navy, having first gotten in through coastal, it is very awful. I had to stop at rank 2 in Japan because of how awful the grind was…

Honestly, bluewater progression feels just fine as it was yesterday
But coastal…Man, can’t wait to waste another 400k RP and like 2 millions SL just to get oneshotted by reserve DD with 0 chance to fight back

So, when is the Coastal decompression happening? It was said during the Bluewater br decompression that Coastal will follow suit. As the most unbalanced and compressed part of naval, it is very much needed.
