What 12.3 helicopter is best to use? The EC-665 with its TRIGAIT-LR missiles or the Block 2 with its Spike missiles.

Arent the PARS missiles faster than spikes?
HAD Block 2, no brainer.
Tiger HAD Block 2 is a way to go, it has a cannon compared to the Tiger HAC which lacks this weapon that may come handy when fighting planes at very short range.
I’ve unlocked the EC-665 (only 200k to unlock vs 400k) and the Trigat does only small damage…
The Spikes are slower but are more reliable from my experiences when using the AH-60.
Am I the only one thinking that the Trigat are not doing enough damage?
@Beeschurger , according to WT wiki, the Pars and Trigat are slightly faster than Spikes.
ill admit i have yet to use Spikes on heli, but from my experience playing Vilkas (and then hopping in UHT and spamming PARS), damage is the same.
I personally prefer faster missiles as with any FnF you want them to hit target as soon as possible as to not give it chance to hide behind cover.
also i wouldnt say that being some 42% faster is “slightly” faster.
since the french HAC can carry Mistrals same as HAD Block 2

you have to decide whenever you want gun for extra self-defense or much better positioned sight that allows you to hide most of the helicopter behind cover.
I personally cant remember last time i thought “i wish UHT had a gun” situation, so for me the choice would be obvious
ultimately its up to you, but id decide on other parts of the kit.
