Easy Anti-Cheat aborts missions because of "operation timed out"

I have been ejected from a naval game two times in a row by Easy Anti Cheat for the reason “Operation timed out”
Is it an issue with my internet/computer or is it a problem with EAC ?

Make sure to not play any game which also used EAC before starting War Thunder.
If you’ve done that, simply restart your PC.

Try to update/repair EAC.
(it’s in the game folder)

Middle of game, booted from game because the anti-cheat system couldn’t talk to my client, it wouldn’t let me rejoin said my tanks were in use (4 minutes or so), quit War Thunder, logged back in and it let me rejoin. Half the game was also kicked.

I don’t cheat in multiplayer games, period, haven’t done so in 30 years. Where is the fun/challenge in that?
