I am literally telling you what the Game Director believes the community wants. I’m not sure where you’re getting that’s what I want from. I don’t want copy/paste, however at top tier we have to come to an understanding that, copy/paste is what we’ll get now.
Why would Russian mains be upset? Its pretty obvious from the feedback we’ve seen so far they don’t want another nation to have KH38MT spam but now they can be on the receiving end of their own mini cruise missiles. Its always good when another nation can get access to superior munitions.
I think it’s much more likely that they don’t want to see their top aircraft be copy and pasted to another nation. The new Su-30 is a bad addition, and it further erodes the uniqueness of TTs at top tier.
A year or so I would’ve been against the addition of non-domestic additions to tech trees, but seeing as we are in the end-game for content, I kinda see Gaijin’s reasoning behind it. But it does feel bittersweet to see some tech trees get eroded (specially the German tree, nobody ever came in defense of the Leopards).
We are in the cyberpunk era of WT, everything and anything goes, there is zero consistency to anything now. Ranging from weapon additions, to technical characteristics of vehicles and planes, there is almost no way of telling what Gaijin’s policies are.
there were Soviet Occipation forces that used MiG-25s in Germany but that’s by all means no good justification to give it to the German tech tree as there was literally almost all Soviet and NATO Equipment stationed in Germany by the Occupational forces USA, UK, France and USSR
At this point what does it matter? We don’t see actual historically used East German vehicles added to Germany that were used by them because “copy paste bad” meanwhile we got leopard 2s going to every nation and even a abrams to China.
I think the main problem there is that generally the ranks that could get GDR NVA Tanks are also those with pretty much the least attention from Gaijin
they just recently started giving us some of the most important West german Vehicles that could’ve already been in the game for a Literal Decade
I also believe that since the Early NVA had a lot of WWII level equipment like T-34s that is also kind of not something they want to touch for a while
