It is coping because you’ve got yourself twisted into thinking that Gaijin HAS to at some point start introducing vehicles that never left the drawer’s desk. It’s a fundamentally foolish position and the sooner you give it up the better.
-
Very much achievable even without introducing new vehicles. Can be easily done with loot boxes, more premiums that are just reskins, more skins that can only be bought with GE and even the " side-load " apps like WT Mobile. Your thinking is far too narrow on this matter.
Two things before heading out of this thread:
-
Don’t ask ME to change, ask Gaijin to do so. The one whose vision got narrow here is not exactly myself.
-
Whenever prototypes get their spotlight, they should add the E-100 with the intended turret. The classic E-100 would still be a badge of veterancy and the new would allow people to get the platform.
I’m not going to ask Gaijin to change on this because I don’t want the change, either. If I want a game with nonsensical bull I’ll reinstall WoT. Simple as.
And again, I don’t care about the E-100’s turret issue. It’s a moot point and is unobtainable for a reason.
I swear it’s not that hard to understand: if you’re not against the dripfeed model, you’re fundamentally agreeing with the future prototype shift. The current pace of new stuff is unsustainable with the remaining amount of existing/operational vehicles.
You pointed out “they’re running out of tech”.
No they’re not, there’s a billion gen 2/3/4 jets left and a ton of their subvariants.
They’re instead running a hypetrain ( copetrain really) every patch to show people “ooh we’re still relevant look at the new META ToP TiER plane/tank oooooohhh”
If they do blueprints before existing stuff it’s joever for this game lol, better rename to wot asap
Subvariants may have some interesting stuff, but those things won’t be modeled to work ingame.
All of those billion jets must pass the balance filter, hence why vehicles like the MiG-25 hasn’t arrived to the game.
Yes but that shouldn’t be an excuse for them to not add it before made up stuff?
Game balance isn’t their top priority though so why bother.
More like I don’t care about the dripfeed model because I don’t even see the relevance to it when the base game itself has issues that need addressing before we even have the discussion about content.
And no, even if I did agree with it that doesn’t mean I vouch for a future prototype shift. Do not ever again try to speak for me about what I do and do not support.
I’d rather pick the current game’s balance than whatever nonsense may come from removing the gatekeep to anything that went on service.
Hell, a MiG-25 at 10.3 would be the ultimate cryout, and would kill the entire bracket, even moreso than the F-104 at 9.3.
You’re supporting contradictory ideas, that’s the last thing i’ll tell you about this topic.
Hope you give it a look.
what?
how and in what way?
it did have flares, so automatically higher. it cant maneuver, so good luck dogfighting, but has decent ish missiles. ez enough to ignore tbh, just flare sometimes and dont be a bot.
And the Mig 25 would actually be the least of a problem lol. why even make a fuss about it?
No, my stance isn’t contradictory. Your gaslighting is garbage. Stop it and get some help.
Add it doesn’t have a mounted gun and it’s a mach 1.4 capable at 5000m and it’s a 104 on steroids that will struggle at 10.7 onwards, same as any F-104J/G that exists rn.
The Foxbat will join the club of inherently unbalanced vehicles.
And to that i’ll say no, thanks. The game does not need operative stuff only by force of habit, but rather to spice a reasonably healthy environment.
Oh, I can answer why, it used to have like a 20k repair cost, with the earning multiplier of a BR 2.0 tank. So most people that had it, didn’t ever use it much as it is still comparable in performance to a Maus.
Though they fixed the repair costs years later, the damage was already done.
No. No turret was ever made for it. and it certainly wasn’t destroyed before reaching the hull.
These claims are as ridiculous as those that claim the Maus was used in combat.
…hypocrisy
“…the 7.5cm gun was mounted above the 12.8cm gun.”
Boi, must’ve been fun reloading that thing. Unless the main gun was mounted very low in the turret in the first place to ease the loading of 28kg shells. Then I guess it wouldnt’ve been so bad, the 7.5cm would’ve been at about shoulder level.
It’s not hypocrisy as TOG 2 in it’s final form didn’t even look like that. The Besa sponsons and hull 3-Inch only existed very early on and with a different turret entirely. The whole great war mod should be removed.
Gaijin just made an entirely fake configuration for TOG 2. At least E100 with Maus turret is based on something. I’d be happy to see another E100 added with the alternate turret.
Yea there was a plan to mount the Maus turret but it was simply to heavy to have it on the E100
