[Air RB]

16 ADF (US, Italy)

used to be 12.7 with AIM-9L and AIM-7M. When it got it’s AIM-120s, it was 13.3, which was fair, as compared to the 13.7 F-16AMs, it lacked AIM-9M and the option of bringing MAWS (and more CM). Now, they are the same BR. Unless it gets 9Ms, this seems unfair. I think giving it the option to lock the AIM-120s and get it’s 12.7 BR back would rectify this a bit if it can’t get 9Ms.

F/A-18C (Late), F/A-18D (Late), (US, Switzerland, Malaysia):

The only way to play with a vehicle with AIM-9Ps as it’s best missile is to buy the 12.7 F/A-18 premiums. The Late F/A-18s are practically the same plane but with AIM-120C5 and AIM-9M. A Lower BR (12.7) with just AIM-9P and AIM-9L will allow players to experience AIM-9Ps without having to buy the premium.

F-18C (Finland)

This late C F/A-18 is worse than the others due to a lack of HMD. I think an optional 12.7 BR without AIM-120s and only AIM-9Ms could give it a unique twist, kind of like the Belgian F-16A.

F-5C TCU (Thailand)

This aircraft struggles due to it’s Derby at 13.0. I think giving the player the option to play it with the same loadout as the squadron FCU would be fair.

M-346FA (Italy)

This aircraft currently sits at 13.0 due to the Derbys. Although some players find it fun, I hear others would prefer it at around 11.0 with 4x 9L.

Yak-130 (USSR)

Giving the players the option to bring R-73 or R-60M at a BR of like 10.3 whilst not forcing it would be fair, as many want that.

AH-129D (and others)

(There are probably similar examples in other nations.)

The AH-129D should be able to take AGM-114K at around 11.7. Italy has massive helicopter gaps, and this could help resolve it. The A129CB could also get a lower BR of 10.3-10.7 with only TOWs.

General - AGM carriers

Some aircraft have their Ground RB significantly increased because of AGMs or similar, I think giving the players the option to use them with CCIP/dumb bombs and rockets would be fair.

Cases like the Su-25BM, where the only weapons that keep it at 10.7 are the R-73 and KH-29TE, in all other regards it’s just the same as the normal Su-25s at 9.7

Quite a few of these across the BRs and i’ll be coming back to this thread to update when i’m back at my setup on sunday.

Harrier T.10. let it get the full 4x BOL and 4x AIM-9M loadouts from harrier GR.7, it is just a twin seat GR.7 after all.

F-4M Phantom FG2. curent loadout and one with AIM-9L to represent a post falklands stanley airfield defence phantom

F-4J(UK) current loadout and one with AIM-9L and supertemp to represent how late britain bought J vatriants from the US. 12.3 as it has less countermeasures than the EJ Kai and the FG2

Harrier FA.2 and AV-8B+ without AMRAAM so it kinda has a chance at being relevant at all

Merge Tornado F.3 and F.3 late as there is no point in having both with this system

What aircraft recieved it on the dev-server? I couldn’t find one.
My most obvious suggestions would be: AMX, M-346FA, MiG-29 Sniper/9-12B (R-73 should be also added), F-104s, Tornado IDS RET.8 (should receive AIM-9L/I-1).

This would be too op at 12.7, 13.0 would be the bare minimum.

What would make it more effective than the Belgian F-16A? Same number of missiles, slower speed, more agile (trade-off). I guess double the CMs? No 13.0 has no radar missiles.

x6 9Ms and x2 7Ms and 60CM is more than what the F-16A (FR) can offer

How do you know they will do this, they know many wallet warriors will complain about the absence of SARH, so they’ll most definitely keep them.

Literally everything in the game should have this system, running votes for specific vehicles is a bit odd.

Tanks in particular absolutely need this at every BR. The Churchill VII recently getting an APHE round… and then predictably being forced up in BR is an easy example.

And for planes, the Ki-43-I, for example, is three different variants stuck together (2x 7.7mm, 1x 7.7mm + 1x 12.7mm, 2x 12.7mm), but all forced to be at the same BR, making two of them useless.

The F-18C (First Finnish one) doesn’t get any type of AIM-7… Just 9Ms and AIM-120

Gaijin already said that more aircraft will eventually get this system but they currently testing with only a few to start with.

I would also like to see such mechanics for tanks, it would bring way more variety, especially for smaller TTs. For example, they can give M26A1 T108 HEAT shell or APFSDS for 90 mm cannons which had access to it.

Most of the all-aspect slingers were moved to 10.7+ for a reason. Adding a very good all-aspect IRCCM missile at 10.3 into a relatively fast platform would open up a can of worms
