Personally, I think it is a shame that there is so little margin to obtain a skin that requires around 7 hours of progress when the event only provides roughly 8 hours of available livestream time.
The main issue is that Twitch Drops can potentially encounter bugs, especially when an event starts or when rewards are being activated and synchronized. With such a small margin, even a minor delay or technical issue can simply prevent a player from obtaining the reward, even if they had planned to participate in the event.
I also think it is unfortunate that players have to be present for almost 100% of the available time to obtain a reward that is purely cosmetic. Players have a life outside of the game as well, and I believe it would be much better to have a little more flexibility when completing Twitch Drops.
For example, on mobile devices, it is quite easy for the stream to be interrupted or for the application to stop running in the background. On PC, it is generally easier to keep the stream running, but bugs, connection issues, unexpected situations, or simply being late can still happen.
Previously, it seemed possible to start working towards a drop and already make significant progress, or even be close to completing it, within a single day. Nowadays, when the required watch time is so close to the total amount of available livestream time, missing just a few hours can be enough to make the reward inaccessible.
It would therefore be greatly appreciated if the required time to obtain the drop could be slightly reduced, or if the period during which the drop can be completed could be extended. This would simply give players a reasonable amount of flexibility in case of technical issues, delays, or unexpected circumstances.
People who follow War Thunder esports also have a life outside of the game, and I think it is unfortunate to have to be present almost continuously just to obtain a cosmetic reward. Providing a little more flexibility would allow more players to enjoy these events and their rewards without feeling forced to watch the livestream every single minute.
