F-5C is definitely not near the best 10.7s anymore. Even the F-5As in Japan and China are better with extra flares and 9Js respectively. J-7D is by far the best plane at 10.7 and NF-5A is better than F-5C in every way at the same BR. Also Alpha Jet TH has 4 all aspect missiles and BK27 with exceptional ballistics compared to M39.
It should definitely move down as AIM-9E with just 10G overload is basically unusable and the plane is too slow, especially when carrying enough for a base (necessary for grinding). I’d argue it wouldn’t even be that strong at 10.3 since F-5C is slower to get the bases than MiG-21SMT, has worse missiles and the engine just sucks compared to MiG-21.

oh yeah totally this plane should go down yk what id agree if it turned realistically was realistically hot didnt have aim9es and didnt get countermeasures then maybe 10.0 but only if its fm is nerfed from the aoa it can pull rn to like 20% less which is more realistic to what it does irl oh yeah and the dmg model and energy retention are abit good the energy rentntion shouldnt be this good but the wings should also snap if they try to turn w a 7mm hole in them let a lone a 30mm hole gouging out half the wing a 30mm shouldnt just leave this things fm uneffected

- This is a game, not reality! There is a reason why the F5C is 10.7. And it’s good.
- It was your choice buying it. No one forced you.
- Your results in this plane fits your over all stats perfectly. So what?
All F5 at this BR range live from their flight performance and guns, not the missiles. And the icecold engine make them untouchable for IR missiles. Additionally GJN give them single pop flares.
That’s not enough for you?
Grinding is a thing in your head, not in the game. At this BR base bombing is totally useless to the gameplay. It’s only egoistic gaining of personal ressources.

This has to be a joke… the F-5C is such a monster for its br already and “it’s uplayable”
I managed to claw this thing up to around a 2.0 k/d just grinding when I started with a .5 k/d since I was bad at the game when I got it. The only things at 10.7 that can compete with you in flight performance are other F-5s. It’s one of the only planes that I’ll confidently throw myself into a furball with courtesy of being untouchable while doing circles at or above mach .95. The low heat signature means you don’t have to use a lot of flares and the nerfed countermeasures actually helps by being single-pop. Add a BS damage model on top of all of that and you got yourself an amazing rat fighter.

Yeah,the only thing outclassing it is NF-5A,cause it have better engines and missiles while having same BR,but gets less CM tho 15 of em are large caliber.
