So, would you consider an unguided torpedo dumbfire or not?

I knew it had to be something Bomber related this DCT. The whole year 2026 was planned around it, with the Strategic Bombers in April and the Bomber Buff as well as the Premium Arado. Back in April I tried to suggest this very Mistel, but the Suggestion got rejected.

They arent dumbfire, following a set course still requres a making corrections, you know they compensate for currents and those sort of things, they dont have an active target guidance, but still have a guidance method.
The suggestion most likely got rejected for unrelated reasons

Doing the same thing at the moment.
Replace it with the Mistel S1 from the Ju.88A-4 and Bf.109F-4 (the upper fighter armament consists of one 20mm cannon and two 13mm machine guns).

Our definitions of dumbfire differ then.
There seems to be no generally agreed upon definition anyways and the term doesn’t seem to appears in any dictionary (except for the urban dictionary lol).
if the plane has that much explosive mass, could it in theory wipe entire caps off the map?
I don’t think so. It is a HEAT warhead, so it will shoot a jet of Plasma forward instead of detonating in a spherical manner.
well, i dont think a direct hit is necessary to kill a tank with it
HEAT warheads can still overpressure, the radius is smaller than a comparable HE warheads overpressure radius though

Yes, but it won’t have a huge radius like the british 12,000lb.
