Dreams Come True: KV-7

I thought this was some jerry rigged Khyber Pass special at first… bolt action AK anyone?

Sadly exists

It’s Pakistani

Yes lmao I saw on forgotten weapons YouTube channel

If you can think of something practical, someone’s done it to the AK platform.

Some other funny Soviet guns from the 1960s

I’d much rather see an KV-4 with a 122

This one could go to tech tree or some classic random event in a cycle. It doesn’t really fit Dreams come true event

KV-7 doesn’t fit it all that well either, but it at least looks dumb enough. I would much rather see something like O-I as it would actually be a dream coming true, but i guess better this than nothing

is the MAUS not being done anymore or is this just a one time thing, or am I misremembering when the maus is made available @Stona_WT

Maus will appear again during anniversary event. It hasn’t started yet so it’s obviously not there

Somehow, I do care more for this decor, then the tank itself.

As for me, the double-barreled version looks more attractive

It would probably be stronger, but i guess we need to work with what we have

I am very happy to see this. I don’t know how people are complaining. WWII/lower tiers are getting something new. Its very unique. Fun. Will be an easy grind. This seems like what people would love to have and often ask for, instead of another high tier vehicle.

Not to get too off-topic, but there even existed a prototype AK variant that had 2 barrels, but the other barrel was cut down and shot a proprietary 12.7mm cartridge. I cant remember what it was called.

I am wondering why we cannot get the double barrel as an optional modification similar to the Great War Package on the TOG II.

Same reason we don’t have modifications to upgun the Sherman from a 75mm to a 76mm, or the Panzer IV F from the short 75mm to the long 75mm.

The modification transforms the tank in a way where it is much better or worse than its original BR, and thus it gets added as a whole new vehicle.

Not to mention the GWP modification originated from a very early version of the TOG II that was much different to what we have currently. It was never intended as any sort of upgrade or modification, literally just part of the initial design. Gaijin adding it as an installable modification to the late TOG II* was very strange and should not be taken any further in my opinion.

Tbh i don’t think exchanging 2 45mm guns for 1 75mm one would be as huge of a difference. It would probably be a bit stronger with double 75, but it’s not like this gun is on some another level when compared to a 45. Just like we have planes that can mount different guns as their main armament like Yak-9UT for example i wouldn’t mind this option on this tank. It’s not like it would go any higher in BR with same armor and mobility. 75mm F-34 this tank has isn’t strong enough either to justify it being higher, even if it had 2 of them.

As long as the tank doesn’t get much stronger beyond what it should be on it’s BR due to that change it’s not a bad idea. And with this tank i don’t think it would make a huge difference

Tickets & How They Can Win You the IS-7 in the Anniversary Stream

How do the tickets become an opportunity to win the IS-7? On November 22 (16:00 GMT), we’ll be hosting an anniversary stream where, among other things, this giveaway will take place, hosted by Mike and Tom.

War Thunder’s Twitch Channel

Each ticket you hold will enter you into the raffle. The more tickets you have, the better your chances to win.

Twelve different winners will be drawn on the stream — each will win the IS-7, added directly to their account! If a winner already owns the IS-7, we’ll contact them later so they can choose any pack from the Gaijin Store, and another IS-7 winner will be drawn during the stream.
