Lately I’ve been researching the EOPTRIS (Electro Optical Ranging & Imaging System) vision system from OIP Sensor Systems, a Belgian company acquired by the Israeli firm Elbit Systems. This company specializes in vision systems and sensors for combat vehicles, etc., and in recent years they’ve been selling their vision systems quite successfully. Some examples include the German Wiesel 1A5 and the Chilean Marder 1A3, both of which recently installed the EOPTRIS LR system.

I won’t go into too much technical detail, but its main features are day vision, third-generation thermal imaging, a laser rangefinder, and a target tracking system, which is what I’m interested in knowing. Would this last feature work like the “auto tracker” present in several vehicles in the game, allowing you to lock onto a helicopter or aircraft flying at low altitude to fire more accurately, or is its function different?
I’m interested in knowing this because if it works the way it does in the game, it would make the new German Wiesel or the Chilean Marder very useful as anti-aircraft guns.

The Chilean marder also has a stabilization system called Vector, also from the same Belgian company that also mentions Auto Tracking.

If you could help me with this question, I would greatly appreciate it, as I plan to make a suggestion about this vehicle.
