Does US or British long-range bombers have flame bombs in real?

From many historical descriptions, when allies use long-range bombers, they will use flame bombs, especially for B29, I wonder there is any reason why we don’t have that? is there any difference with flame bombs we have? some German and USSR WWII aircraft get flame bombs, but why Allies bombers don’t have that?

B-25s did as we firebombed cities with them

Never heard of the fire-bombing of Dresden? Yeah the allies had firebombs

I think it is because the bombs used by the b29 where more of a cluster bomb. The ones in’game i looked at where basically just filled with a mixture while the m69 used over tokyo had 36 6kg rods.

I guess if they add cluster bombs, those will come with it.

Allied bombers tended to use small phosphorus incendiary bombs. Larger napalm bombs were primarily used by the fighters and attackers, more of these could be added.

The small incendiaries would.be of little use in WT. They were generally mixed in with High Explosive types that would blast buildings and then increase the effectiveness of the firebombing as on their own they were limited if the target was brick, concrete or steel.

Lancasters used the arson mission payload frequently, which had a mix of incendiary ordnance and small bombs.

Presumably thusly armed for the bombing of Hamburg.

Yes, but what kind?
