Hello, I would just like to begin with saying, this is my first post on the war thunder forums. So please be nice!
I’m honestly getting tired of playing the F-20A at this point. It feels like every other match is an uptier, and when I finally get into a fight, I’m up against planes that outperform me in pretty much every way that matters.
The F-20A isn’t a bad plane on its own, but at 12.3 it feels like it’s fighting above its rank. It can have decent speed and manouevrability, but what good is that when every damn enemy I meet has better missiles, better radar and a much easier time getting a lock on me?
It’s especially frustrating when I’m constantly fighting planes that BVR me to oblivion… I sometimes end up spending half the match trying to notch missiles instead of actually engaging the enemy.
I get that BR compression is a big problem in war thunder, but the F-20A really feels like it is one of the planes suffering from it the most.
Am I missing something here? or does anyone else feel like the F-20A is just wildly outclassed at 12.3 Air RB?
And please rethink before typing a “skill issue” comment or “the F20A doesnt suffer as much as (plane) in the same BR”
I would like to try and keep this topic as related to the F20A as possible.
