Does ERA not protect against HESH? Or T58 overpreforming?

T58 should be 9.0BR. As I understand it the HESH that the T58 was to use IRL was insanely powerful.
I think this is both a balancing and a compression issue. The T58 has been a cash cow at its current strength and BR rating for the company, so this is unlikely to change until a sales dip sadly.

Edit: at least it’s not 8.3BR anymore? shrugs

It should overpressure you IRL anyway.

I swear to god if a HESH round from a T58 touches the sides on my Magach’s ERA, it the ERA does nothing

I mean i feel it makes sense that the ERA wouldnt really be effective against a multitudes bigger explosive going off on it

ERA is mostly designed for smaller shaped charges, not 17kg of explosive

The funny thing is that i’ve hit similar shots with a fv4005 and had half that postpen and no overpressure. The T58 is definately overperforming compared to every other HESH round in the game. That being said, all other HESH should be buffed rather than the T58 nerfed.
