This was the oldest of the pinned threads in the old forum, time to start it again ! I’ll be populating here w/ the findings archived there in the coming days, in the meantime lets discuss one of the ever-fewer combat ship types not yet present in War Thunder ! [image]

it has 2 types of naval vehicles, Coastal and bluewater if i remember correctly
Not all nations have them but i think at least the US, USSR, UK, Germany has them with France getting one a few months ago, Italy might also have one

We’ve had a second event test fairly recently. I think it will be the direction the Devs take war thunder over the course of 2025 instead cold war era missile slingers which will be hard to get balanced and create engaging gameplay.

Also adding subs add a new layer to existing ships through ASW

There’s been two separate submarine events so far (one WW2 and the other more modern) and the devs have confirmed that there’s plans for subs.

War Thunder Mobile has Submarines already together with missile vessels. and Largest battleships
