So, I was trying to use CDK and it was going relatively reasonable, but for the love of me I cannot put the standard AI planes found on the aerial battles in it, let alone find them.
Could anyone help?

You put those planes around, then you can change their class in the properties for them. You can do some cool things with them too like make them attack you or even take off from a runway. Landing is a bit trickier and seems bugged.
