Does anyone know how to get spotlights to track and move like in singleplayer missions

Ive tried the spotlight units and ships that come with spotlights. They do show their beam of light however it doesnt move. I have the units set to “fire at will”. Ive peeped at the datamined singleplayer missions and didnt find them using the spotlight actions. They seem to only have the “fire at will” property set. But they wave around their light and track units when their light touches something. Is this a singleplayer only issue?

I have been trying to do this also. However, there is one single player mission where they do called ‘Fireflies’ in the Guadalcanal section. If you can datamine that one (and send me a copy/.blk/doc or whatever) I’ll get it working! There are specific commands in the CDK but I have not got these to work so far.

Cheers! Thats great, thanks for the link (I can now load these into the CDK!) :)

Mmm. Not sure how to get the .blkx files in the CDK from the datamine… I used the exact set up for an enemy searchlight as per that mission and it did not move. Any ideas, guys? I’ll keep on it!

Yes this is the exact mission I saw in the datamine. I also played this old mission from WT Live called “The night before DDay” by YellowSwine. WT Live // Mission by YellowSwine
The spotlights worked perfectly even with what seems to be no additional properties, actions or triggers. The only thing is the mission is singleplayer. So Im leaning to believe the spotlight units are bugged in multiplayer. Or require additional actions to get working.
