You know, the punchline of the F-15EX/F-15E RMP situation is that they’re a thousand percent releasing one of those alongside the Su-35 w/R-77T/P/(whatever)s, nullifying the potential shrink in gap (at least with Russia).
Anyway, don’t expect huge efforts from Gaijin to bring back the US to top tier, it’s obvious they are tilting towards Russia at this point, they’re not even trying.

It is. Oxy is not a dev, it definitely is close to the dev process, but even Smin rarely has to backtrack because the dev team changes its mind.

Being a CM is being reasonably close to the dev process, but the last word always goes on devs, CMs do the titanic job of making those decisions PR-able.
Smin addressed this, CMs see the whole year planned out. Small content items can change but large content items are planned far in advance, and the F-22 is a large content item.
Maybe they have finally learned the lesson and are adding the F-35 first to give that thing some time in the spotlight.
Instead of adding the much better F-22 first and repeating the F-15E/EFT/Rafale etc mistake all over again.
(Although I’m slightly biased since I wantthe dutch F-35 for… reasons.)
To clarify, Oxy never said that. He was responding to a question specifically on the F-22.

@Smin1080p_WT I’m preatty sure somone from the Devs or any Warthunder employee, told that we could expect that stealth fighter could come in the second half of 2026. And now Oxy said this. So, should we expect something next update, or is was it all fake news?
The next update is releasing around middle of June, so that technically still falls under the first half of the year.
Also there are other stealth fighters besides the F-22. So what Oxy said doesn’t contradict with what was stated in that CM disclosure.
