Do not let every light tank have scouting

My previous posts were about the same topic but had different content. I have changed my opinion on the topic and wanted to present my new opinion on it with this post.
Do you think I should just add a new message to my old post? Is it being done like that in the forums normally?
It’s not like I just copy and pasted old posts, you know?

Speaking AB-wise, (Since this does affect us, and is under the general tag), scouting is fine atm.

Stock tanks with poor performance can use it to pick up modifications quickly (Which is important, as lights arent that good in AB), and it means that they dont have to poke out of cover so often.

If anything I would like to see the Tier I-II light tanks get scouting instead of removing it.

I’m actually cool with it personally, as I do think the way tanks get it, and what gets it, does need a tweak.

I like those commander versions of the early tank models in the German line.

I don’t know what you mean by that tbh. What do you mean by “commander versions”?

There’s many others with better radio sets and sometimes even multiple radio sets to call in air support.

This is what it looks like for me, when I press the 3 dots at my own messages:

At posts of others I don’t even have the 3 dots:

I somehow don’t have the flag symbol.

So you want it to be more historically accurate?
Honestly I believe gameplay should always come before realism. I see that tanks like the Jagdpanther G1 or the Panzerbefehlswagen IV P had their uniqueness irl but ingame I think it would cause a lot of controversy having one Jagdpanther without and the other one with scouting especially since it would probably be not enough of a buff to just move the Jagdpanther with scouting up a BR.

If Gaijin ever did this they would have to add a ton of other commander versions of tanks so everybody could make use of them and they would become the norm. Idk if there is enough tanks with command versions of them irl, though.

Huh, have you abused the system?

I don’t know. Maybe I was too toxic.
The flag system itself I have never used

It’s an unnecessary advantage for tanks that don’t need it

RiP centauro, all of them

Centauro’s are depressing

My only issue with scouting is smoke grenade doesn’t remove the marker where I think it should

That’s actually a pretty good idea-

The feature is already there in arcade, if they wanna implement it then it will be as simple as copy-pasting the code but change the nametag to scout marker, in arcade the enemy can remove their nametag if they enter the area of smoke.

I’m sorry but i can’t agree
I’m not a good player in any shape or form and yet i love my centauros
I even bought the RGO so that i can play 2 centauro in a lineup.

Problem with them is that they’re wheeled and absolutely massive, and the mobility advantage is mitigated by War Thunder maps being tiny. Other than that the reload and firepower is similar to MBT’s, without any of the armor. Although I do still find wheeled vehicles enjoyable to play.
