Its a tank prototype withoutt armor, without thermal sights, no laser ranging. Now it somehow got bumped up to 11.0 BR. After it already got another BR increase with one of the recent patches. 400mm pen DM23 is just too weak to face up to 12.0 vehicles.
Comparable T-90 or M1A1 models have 560 to 600mm pen and all the other gadgets PT-16 is missing.
I guess its neccessary to get it at least DM33 shells. Maybe even better ones, considering the competitors.
If it does get DM33 it gonna go to 11.3, Type 90s got moved to 11.7 just for having 4s reload with only DM33 lol.
Well the type 90s also have a laser rangefinder. The PT only has a auto adjusting rangefinder
It is also .7 br more, the problem isn’t with it being 11.0, the problem being it having to face much much better 11.7 or 12.0 of which both are really popular br so it is guarantee to get uptier 8/10 times.
Bigger problem is moving it to 11.0 basically destroy the almost non existence 10.7 lineup for Germany.

It’s as fast as a LRF.
Vehicles move up in BR due to their great performance at the old BR, so giving it buffs along that BR increase would basically nullify the work.
Does it have the distance of a standard LRF? I can’t see it being the same BR as the type 90’s since i dont believe it has thermals either.
If it has the same distance as a LRF then its a moot point i brought up, i dont have the vehicle so i cant test it.

Also, Type 90 isn’t 11.0.
I know, type 90 is 11.7 now, but there should be about 1-.7 BR difference between the Type 90 and PT imo
Why ?
PT is more mobile, has better gun handling and one extra crew member. Giving it DM33 would push the tank to at least 11.3 as then thermals would be the only major difference between the two.
I dont have the vehicle so my BR gap comes from using vehicles like the TKX (p) and type 90 against the few PT’s and so far i haven’t seen a good PT player. As i stated before i dont have the PT so i cant give a solid comparison and im using info i have from fighting them and so far the ones i have fought or fought alongside were mid at best. Ill keep my opinion until i decide to watch someone play it or test drive it myself later.
SS recorded 37k battles on PT in July, and stats are pretty good to be honest.
I have experiece in the PT16. The type 90 has Laser warning system, Thermals, Smoke, DM33, 18 shell ready rack, Way more frontal turret and hull armor, Roof .50cal, Suspension controls and you get 3 of them (up to 6 total spawns).
The PT-16 has no smoke, no thermals, a 9 shell ready rack and its unique vehicle with only two spawns. Additionally, germany doesnt have a lineup at 11.0. The 0.7 BR difference is too minimal between the two. It really shouldnt have gone up.
It has a rangefinder that is as fast as a laser rangefinder but does not trigger laser warning systems which is even stronger
