The BMP-2MD has worse armor all around even with the add on “armor” then you have 1 belt of apds. Again i would rather take the missile launcher and same amount of apds while being more armored, lighter weight and thermals aren’t that useful if you cant hurt vehicles unless you’re on the side, again the BMP-2MD imo was a worthless addition if it is going to stay exactly as it is now.
Again, why does gaijin find C&P so hard, i mean they still haven’t even acknowledged the KV-1A having worse armor than the light KV-1C turret despite the C overperforming armor wise. Or the Finnish Sotka’s weighing .2t more than all other T34’s despite not having the add on armor or the fuel barrels or front hull track armor. Or front track guards.
Gaijin majick, just like the KV-1A having less armor than the light turret found on the KV-1C lol. Idk how the heavy KV-1 turret has worse armor but standard gaijin documents i guess.
Again its simple, remove the BMP-2MD and just add the original BMP-2 that finland had with missiles then they dont have to fix the armor and can C&P it. Though it would probably weigh 8t more and have 50 apds and 1 belt of HE rounds as its only ammo.
Here, an oddity I first recall posted by CaID on the old forum. It is brought to you by Panssarikolonna, a paintball and tank driving experience center in Finland that unfortunately closed in early 2023.
They have coined this vehicle “Projekti T-62”, with the simple goal of “creating a wagon that has never been seen before on Finnish soil.” Comparisons can be drawn to the child of a mad scientist, as this T-62 mounts no conventional turret, but rather, the vz. 53/59 twin 30mm anti-aircraft system found on the M53/59 Praga.
Unfortunately, due to the recreational intentions and deactivated armaments, there is pretty much zero chance this thing ever makes it to the game, but I thought it was worth sharing because it combines real military-grade components as opposed to a mockup.
Oh wow those are similar lol XD I think you are on a more right track than i was. It looks more like a Sisu than the one i linked due to the angle of the front and the number of wheels.
