One has been made, it’s been shot down. F-16I won’t be getting the derby sadly.
@Gunjob im sure you’re very busy right now given all that’s happening, but if you get the chance can you take a look at this report?

The IAF used the Aim-120B, it was the first Aim-120 variant they acquired, and they used on on their F-16Is early into their service. Is there any reason its omission is not a bug, or do I need to provide more proper sourcing? All Aim-120C-5 carrier ingame use the Aim-120B as well, and not having it available at an earlier tier would make this aircraft stock grind a lot more brutal. It’s already present ingame on the Israeli F-15I, and it would be clearly compatible with it as well.
(Note this isn’t an Aim-120A or Aim-120C-2, the IAF never acquired them, they jumped straight to the C-5 form the B, then the C-7 and C-8 following that.)

Which is absurd sense if ur not giving it any Israeli missiles just put it in an American tech tree. Id take a shafrir two over a 9m any day. At least give us a python or some kind of Israeli missile instead of missiles this model of jet. Has never used in combat

Like i get the sentiment… but… better to say Python 3 in this case xD
Anyway the devs are right, no F-16I has been seen with a Derby ever, and the IAF doesn’t use them. Unless sourcing can be provided which proves it could use them, it won’t be added sadly.

instead of the I-Derby ER which i said some days ago it would most likely not happen, we should report the missing Python-4 suggesting that it should be added with just IRCCM shut off, that would be better.
I have just found photos of I derby er on the outer pylon of the f16I and someone even showed a dev earlier a photo aswell (I don’t know how to link pictures on mobile) so yes. They do and they have for ages. They even have articles that says they do

I can tell you without a doubt the devs know the Israeli playerbase overwhelming wants this. We’ve made plenty of noise about it to ensure that lol. Everywhere I go on the forums about the new update I see someone talking about the Python 4, and it goes well beyond the forums lol. However if the developers don’t think it’s time, there’s not really anything we can do about it.

If we are loud enough and rough enough it’ll happen. Look at the f15E compared to the f15I they added the engines even tho they shouldn’t of. Or the who market change when everything got cheaper and easier. For to long has the Israeli player base been ignored cause there is like 5 of us. We need the proper stuff our vehicles can be unique with the stuff we have on them. Can be played different. How long till they will finally do something good for us. How many posts like this until they finally add the python 4 while f22s are already in the game. And how long do we have to wait for our python 5 to get DL and less drag? Or the fact that we got stuck with a I derby Sr instead of the er. We’ve cried for years to finally get stuff and every time we get it. They need it into the ground and stop it from even working the way it’s designed too. Like the merkavas APS that has been broken for 6 months now and still no fix in sight

AGM-65D for the F-15I happened due to complaints from the Israeli playerbase. It may be small but it’s large enough to garner attention from the devs with persistence.
And yes Israel, like every nation ingame, has lots of bugs plaguing all its vehicles. It isn’t Israeli exclusive however.

In the second imagine you can see the f16I’s CFT
2nd image is a regular Derby. The difference is the 2 little flaps sticking out the frontal part of the missile. Derby ER does not have these.
That would still mean we should at least receive the derby missile which is love for close range combat
