Discussing the M830A1 nerf

yeah but then we dont know what is the irl one like
and mind you rn its not really good either
i frequently try to use it against helis and they deal basically zero dmg
crit and they still flying

there is also the posibility that gaijins consultant has found the exact explosive mass in some document and has forwarded that document to gaijin

i was just wondering why such low number for a heat round
it just kinda bother me
also why nerf i mean its not really good already

because gaijin is advertising war thunder as the most realistc vehicular combat game out there

i would suggest that you eddite the initial post tho and add the Technical manual as a source and maybe change it so this dosnet seem like another stinger debacle for the ppl that dont want to read through the thread, because currently it dosent seem like that at all to me

yeah but theres alot of things ingame that is contradicting to that
unless u r being satire

iam not maybe gaijin is tho

well you probably didnt see the edit to my earlier post:

nah ill just leave it there

I’ll also just leave these here for more confusion I suppose… M908 is also affected, and M908 is closely related to M830A1, but not sure if all they really did was swapping out the proxy for an AP cap.

Using the same propellelant isn’t the same as using the same amount. You can see this in the cut aways of the munitions.

2.13 lb = 966 g
It is corrected as previous value is wrong.

Just like how the m735 nerf bug report got through with a guy using falsified documents. It could just be poor quality assurance on Gaijin’s part.

The report fulfilled requirements with credible references.

Do people actually use this ammunition?

Looks like they have to change it to 97kg of filler

All the time it is great against aircraft.

Sooo how is the Abrams supposed to have a fighting chance in hull down scenarios against tanks that can easily overpressure us simply my our MGs on top of turret now? The 908 was the only way and it was already kind of weak for this duty. The HEAT rounds don’t work, the 830a1 didn’t work and the 829a2 is useless against fully hill down Russian tanks. Amazing guys thanks.

tell the US they should have made a round with more exploive filler
