Discussing a Sub-Tree for Israel

They use Python 4 missiles and have Litening II systems and Elbit JHMSCS helmets. There aren’t many F-16s that use Python 4 missiles as their primary IR missiles. There are some sources that mention that Chilean F-16s also use Derby missiles.

I was recently helping someone with an investigation into Ecuadorian fighters and we discovered many interesting things. The Mirage F.1s were extensively improved by Israel.

Those are some really great pictures, it puts a smile on my face to see many Latin American pals living through and succeeding with their Israeli modernizations and equipment.

Over here we relied a lot in the Kfir C.2 and CE’s during their time in service.

Here are a few pictures:

IAI Kfir 2000 Prototype during testing.

Newly arrived Kfir 2000 at likely Taura AFB, now rebranded as Kfir CE, notice the tail numbers have been kept.

ELTA EL/M-2032 radar at Ecuadorian Air Force expo, author of the photo states it’s been take on October 23rd, 2009.

Note of the author: this expo was held during my birthday which makes it pretty special to me

That seems like such an exquisite material to hold, would you mind sharing it? I’ve only managed to scrape the document from the US prohibiting the further sales of Kfir aircraft to Ecuador circa 1995-2000 (I don’t remember the exact date)

I forgot to mention the Chilean Hawker Hunter Aguila (Eagle), the only one that ever used Israeli missiles and which also has RWR and 80 countermeasures. It’s one of the few remaining Hawker Hunters that has countermeasures.

That looks like a Shafrir 2 loaded on the pylons, cool!

Sure, I’ll send you the full book. It’s about the Cenepa War. It mentions all the equipment used by both countries. Chilean and Ecuadorian A-37B Dragonflys also used Israeli Shafrir II missiles.

That’s why it makes me angry that Gaijin is so bad at choosing subtrees, when Latam could have been incredibly good for Israel, but they always choose the worst option and create conflict in the community.

Also another thing to note, are you certain it is fitted with the JHMCS? I have it understood that Israel and Elbit mostly supply the DASH HMD.

I mainly ask since if the Chilean F-16’s were to be added, they’ll suffer from the poor modelling of the JHMCS as it stands today.

Thank you very much, I’ve been trying to collect as much material of our Air Force, and let it be said, it’s been a hard task.

Let me know which medium you’d like to share it through.

Edit: Nevermind, just compared the pictures between the DASH and JHMCS, our Chilean pilots do use the JHMCS, therefore we must push for its correct implementation regarding symbology.

ngl as a chilean myself i would rather israel get chile.

even so i would prefer israel getting chile over chile being in a south american TT of itself

Fellow Latin American? Always a +1.

I find it unlikely Latin America will get added as an independent tech tree, as it would be WAY too good in comparison to other nations.

It would quite literally be a tech tree with:

Su-30MKV
5fc6233085600a14115cd6fc

Bolivarian Military Aviation of Venezuela — Su-30MKV

F-16C/D Block 50

Chilean Air Force — F-16C Block 50

Mirage 2000’s

Peruvian Air Force — F-16C Block 50

JAS39 Gripen

Brazilian Air Force — F-39 Gripen

Kfir C.10

Ecuadorian Air Force — Kfir CE

Atlas Cheetah C/E

Ecuadorian Air Force — Atlas Cheetah C

F-5E’s

Brazilian Air Force — F-5EM

I highly doubt for balancing sake that Gaijin would remotely let a single tech tree have the literal definition of “melting pot” in terms of aircraft and weaponry, and it would likely be considered ludicrous by the community, which would only drive the idea away.

tbh, knowing gaijin if we have a proper south american TT it would be so lazily put togheter
