Greetings, I have a question for the developers and the community, and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.
In the game’s tech trees, there are six different variants of the T-34-85 across various nations. Here’s where it gets interesting:
China:
- T-34-85 No. 215:
- Has 3 fuel tanks and 2 track links for protection on the upper frontal plate.
- Weight: 32.0 tons.
- T-34-85 (S-53):
- Also has 3 fuel tanks and 2 track links for protection on the upper frontal plate.
- Weight: 32.0 tons.
- T-34-85 GAI:
- Features a new engine and an additional 12.7mm machine gun.
- Also has 3 fuel tanks and 2 track links for protection on the upper frontal plate.
- Weight: 32.2 tons.
USSR:
- T-34-85:
- Similarly equipped with 3 fuel tanks and 2 track links for protection on the upper frontal plate.
- Weight: 32.0 tons.
- T-34-85 (D-5T):
- Also has 3 fuel tanks .
- However, it has a thinner turret compared to the S-53 gun variant and a crew of 4 instead of 5.
- Weight: 32.0 tons, which is curious and should theoretically weigh less.
Sweden:
- T-34-85: (Captured by Finland)
- Does NOT have 3 fuel tanks or 2 track links on the upper frontal plate.
- Weight: 32.2 tons. FROM WHERE???
Fuel (Diesel) weighs 75 kg (kilograms) equals approximately 165.35 (lbs).
Each of the three
and that is approximately 507.06 (lbs). AND THESE are full tanks, not empty containers! +150 (lbs) for spare tracks (tank track cells)
My question is: Why is there a difference in weight and equipment across these variants, even when some of them should theoretically weigh less? Specifically, why does the Swedish version lack the fuel tanks and track links but still weigh more than some of the other variants?
Looking forward to insights or explanations from the developers or anyone who has noticed this as well. Thanks!

I found something else, but it is no longer T34-85
and I don’t understand this “developer’s logic” now
Don’t forget that the gai is narrower than the rest of them
The Gai is a post war 1950s Soviet T-34 model as well with an upgraded engine/transmission, but for w/e reason its only available to China.
It’s a Chinese upgrade, it’s actually called the type58
Molotov’s glasses and the snow equipment weights 200Kgs.
Well, it won’t work, they don’t understand the Ukrainian language, and they don’t like it. And I can only write in Ukrainian correctly … =)
I had to re do the bug report with sources lol. So we’ll see
English isn’t my first language soni feel that, also i cant type it correctly half the time im sober lol
Dear, just out of curiosity, where can I get such information? I would be grateful for an authoritative source! Thank you
Check online for Manuals or pdfs and such, takes a bit of digging. A decent one is
T-34-85 Medium tank 1944-94 by Steven J. Zaloga and Jim Kinnear.
I don’t drink alcohol at all. Well, let’s continue on the subject of Sweden.
Take and look at the anti-aircraft 40mm self-propelled guns, which shells are used there and the difference in “penetrating” armor… =)
they all use the same 40mm 36C cartridge. If I’m not mistaken, I also found a notebook in PDF with a list of all 40mm
They are not alone there. so it is not possible to increase armor penetration for these cartridges, but in the game the technique is presented with these cartridges with 95mm armor penetration, and this was not done until 1970, and the cartridge with the second name + there are other parameters and a filler (explosive)
I dont have any information on the rounds sorry. Someone else more knowledgeable on swedish munitions may know more about them.
You can look in game and wiki (SAPHEI ) just look
I know about the round in game. 95mm ap and 68mm Saphei
